KIBAALE TIMOTHY CENTRE
Vesta is a longtime supporter of the charitable work of Karl and Arleen Bucholz in Uganda, Africa. Karl used to be a tile supplier for Vesta and decided to give up his life in Canada and move to Kibaale to start a training program for kids. They served in Uganda with Pacific Academy Outreach Society (based in Surrey, BC) since 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they lived and worked at Kibaale Community Centre in Rakai District. In February 2009 they relocated to Masaka, about an hour away from Kibaale, to help begin a sister project called the Timothy Centre. Below is some additional information on this important centre:
The centre includes the Timothy Girls High School: a boarding school that offers a quality secondary education for girls who show academic and leadership potential.
It offers a Diploma in Christian Education Program: a teacher-training program that equips practising Ugandan teachers to integrate a Biblical Worldview into the regular Ugandan curriculum.
Included is the demonstration farm: a program that trains local, subsistence farmers in sustainable farming methods to increase their yields.

La Fuente Riviera
Vesta is proud to sponsor La Fuente Riviera, a local church in Bucerias, Mexico. La Fuente Riviera is passionate about planting churches for this generation with a strong emphasis on children and youth ministry. Some examples of the great work La Fuenta Riviera is doing
Kilo for Kilo: A work for food program implemented to assist Mexican workers laid off by tourist hotels and restaurants during a swing flu epidemic in Nuevo Vallarta. These workers helped clean up Bucerias in exchange for a kilo of food, which helped them feed their families in this time of need.
Building a house for a homeless family in Bucerias
Providing a free breakfast once a week for the street families
Providing a safe shelter with free education and daycare for local abused kids. This included after school care, help with homework and food.
