Site Supervisor – Duncan, BC
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Site Supervisor to oversee Vesta Properties’ Kingsview Project in Duncan, BC. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Construction, you will directly oversee the site team in the construction of multiple townhome sites, ensuring alignment with approved Company schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Terms of employment: Full time (32.5 hours)

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Work hours: 9am-4pm
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budget performance assessments.
- Ensure precise, timely, and pertinent recording, reporting, and analysis of financial data.
- Execute job cost allocations and quarterly reviews for costs and standard costs, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Several years of experience as a CPA, with a preference for candidates from an accounting firm background.
- Proficient to advanced skills in Excel, encompassing formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation, as well as proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality and a positive can-do attitude.
