A destination for many west coast wine connoisseurs, Langley is full of vineyards offering self-guided tours and tastings. But did you know the city is also quickly gaining a reputation for its growing craft beer industry? Not far from new homes at Latimer Heights, you’ll find dozens of picturesque wineries and refurbished old buildings that are now home thriving breweries. Each offer their own unique twist on beer and wine.

Whether you’re into IPA or rosé, here are eight vineyards and breweries to visit the next time you thirsty for a unique beverage in Langley.

Trading Post Brewery and Tasting Room

Whether it’s a raspberry wheat ale or a New Zealand Pilsner, there’s always a new brew to try at this Langley watering hole. Located less than 10 minutes from Latimer Heights, Trading Post Brewery features dozens of beers on tap, an appetizing menu, live music every Friday night, and a great vibe.

With a little help from the friendly staff at this award-winning winery, you’ll be wine connoisseur turned winemaker in no time. Located less than 15 minutes from Latimer Heights, this award-winning winery features a variety of DIY blends. There’s something for every pallet.

Located 20 minutes from new homes at Latimer Heights, Port Wine Company specializes in fruit wines. If you’re into sweeter wines made with blueberry, pear, apple, and cranberry than you’ll love the tastings this vineyard. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious cheese platter on the patio outside.

With a gorgeous view of Campbell Valley Park, you won’t easily forget your trip to this gorgeous 10-acre winery or its equally divine flagship wine. Featuring distinct notes of walnut, plum, vanilla, and star anise, you’ll want an entire case of this wine after just one sip. Located 25 minutes south of Latimer Heights, this charming, off the beaten path vineyard is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon in Langley.
